Mobil.kino.dk – check out where the movie is
Kino.dk is Denmark’s biggest film site, where you can book cinema tickets and pay for them, too. Apart from reading about current and coming films, you can also watch trailers and participate in competitions.
Kino.dk strives constantly to develop services and content which makes it easier and more exciting to see movies at the cinema, which is why Kino.dk has launched – in collaboration with Unwire – the first version of mobil.kino.dk – a lite version of the website.

Showing times and film buzz in your pocket
On mobil.kino.dk you can find out when a film is showing at any of the cinemas in the Kino.dk network, see if seats are still available, read news about directors and film stars – even rate films after your visit to the cinema and help to direct others to the best films.
“This and other mobile solutions are still under development, and in future we intend to offer trailer videos and ticket sales on mobile phones” explains Christian Lund, Editor and Managing Director of Kino.dk.
Films should be seen at the cinema
“The mobile medium is perfect when it comes to handling every practicality of going to see a movie at the cinema, expectation-building ahead of watching the film, then afterwards, opinion-shaping and reviews. So Mobil.kino.dk is in a state of constant development and new features will be added to create a dynamic online film universe,” says Christian Lund.
Kino.dk launched mobil.kino.dk just before the summer holidays and is currently gathering data about users’ behaviour on the solution. “Apart from accustoming our users to use the mobile portal, finding the right strategy for ticket handling on mobile phones also takes time. And offering this service is definitely one of our goals,” Christian Lund concludes.
