Post Danmark’s mobile service Postkort 1900 came out top when politiken.dk tested the use-friendliness of different post card services for mobile and digital cameras in August 2009. The test attached great importance to user-friendliness and delivery times.

It’s as easy as sending an mms. Take a picture with your mobile phone or a digital camera and have it drop through the letterbox of a friend or relative as a proper post card with your greeting and a stamp on it.

Postkort1900 (Note: it works only in Denmark): This is what you do
1. Take a picture with your mobile phone
2. Send it with the text “POSTKORT” to 1900 (the phone must have a camera, be able to send MMS and connect to the Internet)
3. You will receive an SMS text message with link you must open
4. Write your greeting and the address of the recipient
5. Accept (*the card costs DKK 20  + mms and data rate)
6. PostDanmark prints you picture, text and address
7. The recipient gets the card within two days
